Wooden villages, low cloud and green meadows — a Letszu group in the valleys of Azad Kashmir.
There is a particular kind of morning in the Kashmir valleys: cloud sitting halfway down the forested slopes, timber-and-tin houses scattered across the green, and the whole valley slowly emerging as the mist lifts.
This group made the long journey up through Neelum for exactly that. Days walking between villages, evenings in wooden guesthouses, and the constant low sound of the river.
Our Kashmir routes cover Neelum, Arang Kel, Taobat, Ratti Gali and Pir Chinasi, from weekend escapes to four-day journeys deep into the upper valley.
Thank you to everyone in this group. It was a good trip.
